I've had a few emails asking how to download episodes to listen to on a computer, mp3 player, ipod, phone etc. If you have an iphone read this bit of news.
Generally the simplest way to download episodes of Philosophy Bites is via iTunes. If you have a Mac you probably have this pre-loaded (you can click here to open the relevant link - it will start up your iTunes application). If you have a PC you might be able to get episodes from our site by 'right clicking', but iTunes is a free download and much more straightforward. If you don't want to use iTunes then you can try www.philosophybites.libsyn.com
Once you have iTunes, find us by searching or looking in 'Podcasts' then 'Society and Culture' and if you don't see us there, look in the subsection of 'Society and Culture' called 'Philosophy'. Click on the duck-rabbit icon. Click on 'Subscribe' if you want the episodes automatically as they come out. Or click on 'Get' alongside individual episodes that you want to download.
If you don't want to use iTunes, Juice (which is a free download) is a good alternative that allows you to subscribe to and download episodes of podcasts. Our podcast feed is http://philosophybites.libsyn.com/rss
Best wishes,
Nigel
